Loss of work and income
You can apply for the government payment:
Personal financial crisis caused by loss of work and income
In the case of mortgages and loan payments that you can’t meet, go and discuss your situation with you bank or creditor. You might be surprised at how helpful they might be.
Worker’s compensation
If you believe you were infected with COVID while working get a worker’s compensation certificate from your GP and send it to me. This will start a claim. The insurance company will investigate to see if the claim is legitimate.
Alternative work
For staff who can’t go into their usual workplaces, other work will be offered, if it is available.
Annual leave and sick leave entitlements
Can be applied for if you have it.
YOU CAN CONVERT FROM THE CASUAL RATE TO THE ENTITLEMENT RATE TO ACCRUE ANNUAL LEAVE AND SICK LEAVE:
- Make your request to me
- I will have rate details sent to you
- If you agree, accrual will start immediately
Close contact exemptions

Workplace crossover infections
We will, where ever possible, manipulate rosters to minimise crossover infection.
