TRANSFERRING FROM THE CASUAL TO THE PERMANENT PAY RATE
This is a reminder in case people missed the first memo.
NWSS will continue to recruit workers as casuals and orient them to the work we do.
If, and when, an employee, after six-months, has gained consistent, ongoing hours they can request to be transferred to the permanent rate and accrue sick leave and annual leave. They will be required to sign an agreement acknowledging this change so that they understand the rates and differences between casual and permanent status.
