CONFLICTS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Introduction

North West Support Services (NWSS) has a duty of care to provide safe, client focused supports’. Support Workers need to be totally focused on clients with no conflicts of responsibility that will distract them from their work.

This is critical in times of crisis like fire, evacuation, accident, critical health attention etc. There is only one priority in these situations and that is the clients.

Applicability

·       Applies to all employees during service provision

Employee responsibilities

·       When working, Support Workers must not have their pets, children, friends, family members or other clients with them. This includes waiting in vehicles during work time
