DRUGS AND ALCOHOL

To maintain the safety of our clients we have to ensure that staff are drug and alcohol free when working.

I have attached the NWSS policy  — Drugs and alcohol policy and procedures — as a reminder that we are now carrying out random testing in the workplace.

These tests will be carried by the General Manager, Neal Rodwell and Technology Coordinator, Nicholas Higgins.  They will show their drivers licences as proof of identity.

Neal and Nicholas are very likely to turn up at a workplace at anytime to test all staff on shift.  The procedure will be as outlined in the policy including privacy during the test.

Please be warned that a positive test could have serious consequences including dismissal.
